United Malayalees of Queensland (UMQ) Inc. is the peak body to unite the Malayalee associations in Queensland, organized the Mega thiruvathira at Islamic College of Brisbane on August 12th, 2023. more than 300 participants were participated and sets a national record through a well-orchestrated Thiruvathira. Thiruvathira is a synchronized group dance performed by women in Kerala, invoking the favor of Lord Shiva.
